Another nail in the coffin of the youth team and acadamy players. What chance has home grown talent got. It was Keegan when he was England manager said that in future, the England team will be picked from championship players and if no-one is prepared to bring on young home grown talent, he will be proved right

The big spender clubs have basically laughed in the face of the so called financial fair play system already. What a joke and you can easily see that money runs football and its rules.

Platini will always move the goalposts for the benefit of his beloved France.
These rules were only ever brought in to hit the English clubs and try to prevent us dominating the European competitions.
That never happened anyway.
Now that this family from Quatar are buying clubs all over Europe, including France, he seems to have softened his stance all of a sudden.
He probably knows, just like we do, that the mega rich clubs will always find a loophole.
"We are not a stepping stone, we are Newcastle United. Every player should be honoured to wear the shirt of this club" Rafa Benitez.
