Classic Howe really, on the back of his best game against Chelsea, playing in a favoured position, he drops Tonali. I fully expected Bruno to be shifted out to the right centre and playing as a genuine 8, with Tonali continuing his position centrally and Willock on the left of the 3.

If we lose this and there isn't a genuine reason not to start Tonali, he is going to be under immense pressure to explain this decision. Same can be said on the opposite side if we win though and the plaudits that will bring.

I loved seeing the return of Willock and Joelinton on the left, with the added benefit of having a real quality left back to support them, so I like the fact we have that again. The Arsenal side is strong though and I think we will do well to get a point from this one.

I used to hate Liverpool more than any other team, dick head manager with self entitled, self pitying dick head supporters. If it puts into perspective my disdain for Arsenal, with lego prick in charge, I honestly think this team and their wanker fan base is more dislikable than any in recent memory, and I include Turkey Teeth and his Liverpool side in that. To win this with a refs call, a dubious VAR decision would be levels of satisfaction that are difficult to quantify.

Man City may be cheats, but I'd take them any day for winning the league over these twats, so any dent we can put in their title hopes would be really sweet.

Burn in at the back again after Kelly's midweek performance seems bonkers to me. BDB has many good qualities but his lack of pace is costing us dear if he is to continue playing in the opposition's half. By the way, I don't buy this "we need his height" bullshit 'cos he has a thrupenny-bit head most of the time.

Great goal, great work off the ball and some lovely passages on the ball.

The subs will be key as Arsenholes will turn the screw and I suspect we will need fresh legs to keep the intensity up.

Perfect game plan and a perfect goal. The best part though, was that we had to fight and earn that result and we did. Great stuff all round.

That was like so many of our games in the Champions League qualification campaign. Immense effort from every single player and hard to pick a standout, although Hall is thoroughly deserving of his man of the match.

Such a huge week with 2 amazing results back to back, we have to kick on from here now, and not slump back.

Huge performance and huge 3 points.

Hmm, the fact that we could finish tomorrow (Monday 4th November), in 11th place apparently doesn't matter. One win, albeit a very, very commendable one, against Arsenal, means that everyone who has expressed any opinion other than that Eddie Howe is the (new) Messiah, doesn't know what they're talking about, is a danger to the club (somehow), and should just fuck right off. I'll concede that I am wrong about Saint Eddie when we qualify for next season's Champions League, until then I continue to have very serious doubts about his ability to take this club forward.
