Jermaine Jenas

This very average ex-player seems to be getting his heed on the telly as a pundit quite a bit lately

Nothing to do with having played for a London club, of course

I can imagine that he would fit in very well with the media types in that there London. After all, isn't that how everybody gets a job at the BBC? - those that aren't related to somebody who already works there of course.

When I saw the subject I thought it was a thread either suggesting we sign him on, or news that we are about to sign him.

Maybe they hope that some of gobshite Harry's "personality" has rubbed off on him.

It is quite a strange one though.
Most of the pundits have been half decent footballers or have had a relative amount of success.
Not sure he fits the agenda on either score.

Don't suppose it did Andy Townsend any harm.
sh*te player for sh*te clubs (at the time) and a sh*te pundit as well.

Dare I suggest that some of these blokes are appointed as token colored representatives?
Let's face it, other than Ian Wright they've all been piss poor pundits.
John Barnes, Clark Carlyle, Paul Elliott, Luther Blissett etc.

Ferdinand did the World Cup but has done now thing since as he's still playing.
Henry has just started so I guess Jenas was in there before him.
Chris Kamara is in there for some comedy value.
