Poyet:

“Jack will agree he’s played all his career here and he knows how much we helped him develop into the player he is today,” said Poyet.

“He’s in the national team, how much is it up to us? I’d say 98 per cent for us and two per cent for them (Newcastle). He’s been there two and half minutes, and now he’s an England player.”

They gave him the start

WE gave him the stage.

Don't know why they are so upset.
Its a squad for a friendly and 1 qualifying game.
Odds are he will get 5 minutes in the friendly and nothing else.

Does all of this bitterness and continual moaning not just make them look even worse?
Slag him off in one breath then say how much they did for him.
If he's as shite as they say he is, then they didn't do a good job with him did they.
If he's good, then that's just because he's a Geordie :D:D
"We are not a stepping stone, we are Newcastle United. Every player should be honoured to wear the shirt of this club" Rafa Benitez.
