I thought we were excellent, never gave Palace a chance to get a proper foothold in the game. It's such a shame that the summer transfer window hasn't given us the extra depth I feel we will need as the season goes on, with so much money being wasted on Tonali (less said the better) and Barnes, the latter of which may still play a part this season but he is going to have to dig up some massive trees to match what Gordon brings to the side.

Hopefully Willock is pushing for a start again soon and Joelinton has already had an early season rest with injuries, so we have two players there who will freshen things up in the coming months.
