Worst team we have played in my lifetime as a supporter, genuinely the most abysmal showing both tactically and in terms of their effort.

What a result though to boost confidence, goal difference and give us a great end to a tough week of games.

I don't want to steal what Jamie Redknapp (pains me to say it) said post game, but it has been obvious in the last few games, that we miss Longstaff's running, even if his technical ability is limited, his running is so important to the way we play. Add in Willock and Joelinton's running/energy and you can see how our style and performances have dropped off when these 3 have not been in the side.

Big thinking ahead for Howe, Anderson isn't the answer to that 3rd position, and for me Willock walks straight back into that midfield, which begs the question about what happens with Tonali...
