Well, if this story is true, this lad is a bit special........ 

Previously miscast as a left back, Ben Davies returned from a loan at Fleetwood Town in 2017 a different player. Davies has made himself virtually undroppable at centre back, with his ability to play out from the back a major factor.

Davies has a great left foot, and whilst he isn’t the biggest or strongest defender ever, his reading of the game and turn of pace are very impressive. Sadly for Preston, that means Premier League clubs are bound to come calling.

Great young player and bags of potential.

Would be a great addition. I'd sell Fernandez, Clark and maybe even Lejeune who is a bit injury prone.

The centre backs will end up with repetitive strain injury next season with the amount of defending they will be doing. The ball will be like a boomerang once they let go with those defence splitting long balls from the master twatician that is Stevey Boy Bruce! I suspect we might end up signing a cluster of centre backs to suit the new tactics from the local hero.
