RE: Owt on realistic targets ?
Disappointed so far.

With the money supposedly promised, all we seem to be chasing is loan deals. We are linked with Liverpool's Sheyi Ojo today, on loan.

I thought we would hit the ground running in the transfer market, but it just seems to be one disappointing rumour after another at the minute. I could understand if we only needed 1 or 2 players to strengthen the squad, but we need half a first team!

RE: Owt on realistic targets ?
I think that part of the problem is the sheer size of our squad currently. I believe we have something like 29 players that will need to be registered in the squad if they're to play now (even after sels leaving and the players released) as the squad size is 25 that leaves 4 players that need to go even before you start adding new faces over 21 year old.

Now there are a whole lot of those players that will be being touted around in an attempt to get rid and a whole lot that we'd sell if we got a decent offer but you can see why the "club" might be dragging their feet when there are already 4 players that we're paying that will not be able to play for us. I imagine there's probably as much work going on trying to get rid of the dead wood as there is in trying to get the people we need in.
