blooming heck a nazgul! how are you? long time no see.

as for metro, while i won't be quite that harsh I would have expected that Gayle and Murphy would have scored at least one of those chances. Mitro isn't a finisher, it's why they had to bring in a specialist coach last season. I think I'd sell him if we could get a decent replacement in with the money.

Someone asked me on twitter last night as to what time do we call time on Mitro at Newcastle.
My answer, NOW.
We have Gayle back, and straight away he seemed to be running around, dragging defenders and playing a great team role.
Chances started coming and we got back in the game.
Perez, though some will still not agree, is starting to belatedly find something. Running, creating and getting on the scoresheet.
His all round game is getting there.
Murphy has shown when called upon that he offers the "something different" we need at times. Plus the ability to help see the game out like he did at Wolves.
I don't see how a striker who misses too many chances, still has temperament issues and lacks work ethics can offer us anything now.

I wanted him to succeed. I really did. But there comes a time when you maybe accept that it just isn't going to work out.
I may well still be proved wrong and that would actually be a good thing but I'm not convinced I will.

I agree Steve. He's not offering anything at the moment. Maybe he'd do better in another formation but we aren't going to start playing 442 and can't afford to carry a player like him even if we did at the moment. We'd be better off bringing in someone new. Heck the way we play would suit Armstrong better than Mitro anyway.
