Benitez To West Ham?
“we bought your ground for you”
“we bought your ground for you!”

Some London-based journos have been writing about the plight of poor little West Ham, languishing at the wrong end of the Premier League and apparently about to sack their latest “messiah” Slaven Bilic.

The answer of the West Ham heirarchy, who appear to be slightly out of touch with reality, is apparently to seek to appoint United manager Rafa Benitez.

Have to admit this story coming out of London has to be a strong contender for joke of the year.

RE: Benitez To West Ham?
As far as owners go, ours has had his fair share of problems in the past and there may be more in the future.
However, Rafa Benitez has had no problems with him to date. In fact, quite the opposite.
He's had total say on all things football and the club is now seeing the value of taking such a step.
Compare that to the owners at West ham.
Now they may have put up money, or maybe put another way, WE have put up money for players. Free stadium with no running costs giving them money to spend on players. Anyhow, moving on.
Sullivan is possibly the most loathsome little individual in football since Denis Wise departed the SJP corridors of power. He must be the least likely person to persuade Rafa to uproot from a job he is clearly loving and from an area he has formed an instant liking to.
Maybe next season things here will change, a reverting back to type after Rafas rescue mission, but he will remain here to see how it pans out.
If he was to leave, West Ham will be no nearer getting him than they will be right now.
Not his sort of club in any shape or form.

"We are not a stepping stone, we are Newcastle United. Every player should be honoured to wear the shirt of this club" Rafa Benitez.
